Perfect for competition shooters and high-capacity applications, our VP-26 P-Mag 5.56/.223 Base Pad Extension easily adds extra capacity to BOTH Gen 2 and Gen 3 5.56 and .223 P-mags.
With a clean contour around the base of the magazine, and undercuts in the right places, they are comfortable to pull from a plate-carrier or battle-belt setup. Our one-piece design with no moving parts allows for easy installation and easy magazine cleaning sessions. The VP-26 utilizes the stock magazine spring and comes anodized in our classic black, red, and blue colors.

VP-26 P-Mag Extension Installation Instructions:
- Remove existing base plate
- Remove bottom end plate from spring
- Compress spring and slide new base pad on
- Install button head screw with thread-locker (if desired)

Adds 10 to 40 as advertised. Looks great. Unlike previous review, I have no wiggle. Machining is top notch and it rides in existing floor plate groove perfectly. As with all these extensions, just make sure your spring seats properly. It can bind if not careful.
Being priced dramatically lower than most magazine plates with less ammo increase, this magazine plate is absolutely fantastic. The fact that it works with relatively any PMAG I install it on is great, it also works with the PMAG coupler so you can gang multiple magazines with extensions together to increase ammo capacity even more.
Pros- This extension adds 10 rounds to your 40 rds mag and 8 to your 30. All that for a not bad at all price tag. The finish is sleek and tough. Cons- Not a tight fit; the machining could have been done better. The locking mechanism just prevents the extension from sliding back but it allows for some wiggle room. Because it is so big, I recommend a stronger spring to balance out the tension loss.
